Deminers, dogs and machines are used in the process of demining.

There are approximately 80 regular employees from Croatia and 40 deminers in company DOK-ING DEMINING Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In its „Tool Box“ the Company has: 20 vehicles for personnel transport, 2 trucks for transport of demining machines, 122 metal detectors, 20 magnetic locators, 4 magnetometers with data logger and 140 personnel protective equipment and 2 ambulances with doctors, paramedics and drivers.

Apart from 5 dog teams the Company has at its disposal 14 demining machines:

• 2 Heavy Flails (MV-20 and Scanjack 3500),
• 3 Medium Flails (MV-10),
• 6 Mini Flails (MV-4) and
• 3 Armored Vegetation Cutters/Excavators (MVB type).

When operating on a medium/heavy to heavy terrain the machines are capable of clearing from 130.000 to 200.000 m²/day in a 10 hours shift.

            This figure can be higher several times in case of operating on an easy or sand terrain.

            It is important to emphasize that all equipment is regularly tested annually by CROMAC-CTDT (CROMAC – Centre for Testing Development and Training) .
